The PicoSAR contract is the third over the last few months for the compact, high performance SAR/GMTI radar which the Italian owned manufacturer describes as the ideal solution for challenging UAS surveillance applications.

The two contracts are the latest in the high technology partnership between Selex and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia KACST following a formal collaboration agreement signed in 2010 - some 18 months after the initial MoU.

Selex has a base in Riyadh - Selex Galileo Saudi Arabia (SGSA),- which is a wholly owned subsidiary.
