Satcom Direct Dubai presence opens today

The office in Chirchel Tower on Business Bay in Dubai’s downtown area is one of several offices opening around the world. The others are in Montreal, Canada and Sao Paulo, Brazil.

All of the new international offices will provide sales and technical support for Satcom Direct services to customers located in or visiting these locations, and the Dubai office will offer a small avionics and testing lab and training facility by the end of the year.

"As Satcom Direct's international business expands and our domestic customers increase their international travel, it is important to have offices available worldwide to help them meet their service needs and find immediate answers to their satcom questions," said David Greenhill, president of Satcom Direct

"The areas that our new offices serve are destinations of travel for many of our customers, so we want to be in those locations and available to them. Our main focus is on delivering quality customer service, and our goal is to be equipped to fulfill our customers' communication needs no matter where they are located."

Tying in with the company’s Dubai move is an open house and half-day symposium this morning (Monday, November 5) at the Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach

The new Satcom Direct International offices are the second round of global offices to open for the company.

The initial Satcom Direct International office was opened in May 2012 in Farnborough, United Kingdom, to provide European customers with physical access to Satcom Direct's avionics and testing lab, training facility, and support services for pilots, flight operations and maintenance staff.
