As outlined in Arabian Aerospace online from EBACE two weeks ago, the new company, began private jet operations at the beginning of April with a Gulfstream G450.

Today it confirmed it has committed to leasing Building/Hangar 27 at Al Bateen where it will develop and expand its scope of services to offer line maintenance and other technical works.

Rotana Jet maintains its offices in Dubai and plans to add four to five aircraft to its fleet each year, specialising in the large cabin, wide-bodied jets - which reflect the majority of requirements in the Gulf Region market.

“We are delighted to grow our business at Al Bateen Executive, the Region’s only dedicated airport for business aviation.  Its convenient location, professional team, and fine facilities, which are continually being enhanced, mirror our own commitment to superior service and quality,” said Rotana Jet CEO Horm Irani.

Steve Jones, Al Bateen General Manager said: ”Our new DhabiJet FBO will look after their clientele and crew.  They will benefit from our city centre location, 24/7 opening hours and no slot restrictions.”

In addition to corporate/private air charters, Rotana Jet offers a range of specialist aviation services, including aircraft management and consultancy.  While the company is young (launched in November 2010), it boasts a strong management Team with over 150 years’ aviation experience both internationally and the Arabian Gulf Region.  CEO Horm Irani is the former Managing Director of ExecuJet Middle East.
