The partnership, valued at approximately US$133 million, will commence in March 2025, with an initial duration of three years (36 months), and the possibility of extending for an additional two years after the primary contract term.

Under the terms of this agreement, SGS will deliver comprehensive ground services, including ramp handling and passenger terminal services, for all of Riyadh Air’s flights operating at Saudi airports. These essential services will ensure the safety, comfort, and timely departure of passengers, while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and operational efficiency throughout the entire journey, from the aircraft’s arrival to its departure.

Adam Boukadida, chief financial officer at Riyadh Air, commented: “We are excited to finalise this partnership, which extends our previous collaboration from August 2024. This agreement ensures that we are fully prepared for Riyadh Air’s official operations in 2025. Ground handling services are a critical part of the premium experience we aim to provide to our passengers, and we are confident this partnership will set new benchmarks in the aviation industry both locally and globally.

Mohammed Mazi, chief executive officer of Saudi Ground Services Company, added: “This contract represents an important addition to our growing portfolio of strategic airline clients and partners, both domestically and internationally. It is also a testament to the continuous development of our services, which align with global aviation standards. We look forward to being a part of Riyadh Air’s successful journey.”
