RAK Airport signs ten year fuel deal with SKA Energy

The airport, at the UAE’s most northerly emirate, has been witnessing dramatic growth following the investment in the facilities where the airport’s modern state-of-the-art equipment and facilities are matched by a 3,760 meters long runway capable of handling the biggest aircraft currently in service. The present airport is set for more expansion in the near future as the emirate meets the increased growth of visitors to the region for both business and leisure

SKA’s chief executive Mike Douglas said he expects the tank farm to be commercially operational during the third quarter of 2013. “The RAK International Airport and the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah are rapidly expanding, and SKA hopes to establish a long term relationship that adds value for the airport,” he said.
