There will be dedicated counters for Falcon Gold passengers and Gold and Silver Frequent Flyer Program members, a drop off counter for passengers already checked in online, as well as three separate counters for economy class passengers.

The dedicated counters will ensure Gulf Air's Falcon Gold and FFP passengers receive exclusive check-in by well-trained Gulf Air counter staff while making it faster for economy class passengers too, with additional counters to complete their check in formalities.

Checked-in passengers need not wait in the queue with others; they can now drop off their luggage on the go as they proceed to immigration and customs.

Gulf Air chief services officer Marcus Berndhardt said: "Gulf Air's aim is to provide an enhanced customer experience at every stage of the entire customer value chain that begins with check in as the first personal, face-to-face process.

"Whether it is Falcon Gold passengers, FFP members or economy class passengers, we are fully convinced that they will not only get the required services for what they paid, but also receive value added services in terms of exclusivity, speed and comfort when they come to our counters."

Mr. Berndhardt concluded: "I am certain that the new check in service in Paris will provide an enhanced customer service experience to our passengers right from the doorstep when they check in and all the way up to their final destinations, until after they get their luggage and check out."

Paris is one of the longest serving destinations of Gulf Air flying since 1976.
