ASIG - a provider of aviation services - processes approximately 500,000 outbound passengers a year for Emirates at LHR.  Late last year ASIG was also successful in renewing its aircraft cleaning contract with Emirates which includes two daily A380 flights and three B777 aircraft at LHR.  ASIG also carries out cabin cleaning services in Manchester for Emirates B777 and Airbus A330 / A380 aircraft equating to more than 1,100 seats a day.

Pat Pearse, Managing Director, ASIG Europe, said: "We are very pleased to renew our passenger handling agreement with Emirates which was an existing contract that we gained through the acquisition of SAS Ground Services last year.

"The ability to provide comprehensive airside and terminal services to our customers at LHR is central to our commitment to delivering world class services at gateway airports.  We look forward to continuing our relationship with Emirates."
