SAUDIA’s director general to serve as member of IATA Board of Governors
IATA has elected Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar, director general of Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA), to serve as a member of the IATA Board of Governors for a period of three years.

Al-Omar said he takes ‘great pride’ in the trust granted to him by the members of IATA’s General Assembly. He added that this trust reflects the strong position of the Kingdom's national carrier among the world’s major airlines, as well as its influential and pioneering role within the industry and commitment to the safety standards and operating methods approved by IATA.
