Mehmet T. Nane appointed Chairperson of the board of Pegasus Airlines

This is following the decision taken by the Board of Directors after the Ordinary General Meeting on Thursday, 30 March 2023.

Nane succeeds Ali Sabancı, who served as Chairperson of the Board of Pegasus for 17 years. Ali Sabancı will continue to serve as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Esas Holding and as Board Member of Pegasus Airlines.

Nane, who joined Pegasus Airlines in March 2016, served as CEO of the company for six years before assuming the position as Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Directors and managing director in March 2022. He will continue to serve in various national and international bodies including his roles as Chair of the Board of Governors and the Chair Committee of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Private Aviation Enterprises Association (TÖSHİD), will continue his duties at Pegasus Airlines as Chairperson of the Board of Directors.
