Iran Air gets its first female CEO as Parvaresh moves to ICAO

Iran Air has appointed its first female CEO to succeed Farhad Parvaresh who moves to Montreal as the country's representative at ICAO

She was named by the official FARS news agency as Farzaneh Sharafbafi
Sharafbafi, is currently director-general of Iran Air’s research department.
According to FARS she is also the first Iranian woman with a PhD in aerospace. She has already implemented several aviation projects and has taught various aerospace courses.
