Alia on the wings of love

The Royal Jordanian pilot joined a group of UK wing walkers – including Arabian Aerospace’s Liz Moscrop – who together raised $33,000 for the flying for the disabled charity Aerobility.
The money is to be used towards a new aircraft to allow more people with disabilities to learn to fly.
Alia said “I rather call these people determined, rather than disabled. They are focusing on what they can achieve rather than what they can’t. Flying is an ideal way to develop self-worth and a sense of achievement.”
Alia described her first wing walk as being “Peaceful”. She said: “Despite the barbell rolls and loops I really enjoyed the time on top of the Boeing Stearman bi-plane”
