Acclaimed US aviation journalist joins Arabian Aerospace team

Internationally acclaimed aviation journalist James Wynbrandt has joined the Arabian Aerospace team as North America correspondent

James  is a  multiengine instrument-rated pilot and aircraft owner, James Wynbrandt writes for aviation publications including Smithsonian Air & Space, Aviation International News, Business Jet Traveler, Plane & Pilot and Sport Aviation, and has written about aviation for The New York Times, Forbes, Fortune and Barron’s, among other publications.

Television writing credits include Speedvision’s Wonderful World of Flying series. He is the author of A Brief History of Saudi Arabia (now in its second edition), a Brief History of Pakistan, and Flying High, an account of the launch of JetBlue, among other books.

He studied Arabic and Middle Eastern history and culture at New York University’s Hagop Kavorkian Center for Near Eastern Studies, and lives in New York City.

james will be making his debut in the next edition of Arabian Aerospace with an insight into the BBJ products and a look at just how seriously the North American OEMs are taking after-sales serviceto in the MENA region.
