Niger hit by scam overflight email

In an email – purportedly from Moctar Malawan head of Niger CAA’s department of clearances – an offer is made to deal direct.
The email is false.
According the Seydou Yaye Amadou of Niger CAA (ANAC), the fake email address had been set up in Nigeria. The Nigerian CAA have been advised of the crime and asked to help stop the fraud.
A spokesperson for Dubai-based Hadid, said the flight services company was aware of the issue and had been working with ANAC.
Hadid continues to assist ANAC is providing aviation support for international companies wishing to fly to Niger.
