SHOW BUSINESS: IDEX / NAVDEX 2023 Day 1

As IDEX opens its doors for its 30th anniversary show, it does so with an impressive set of numbers.

More than 130,000 visitors are expected this week for the defence event of the year, collocated with NAVDEX, the naval event, and organised by the ADNEC group.

The record breaking show is also packed with technology and new products – including 11 new autonomous vehicles for land, sea and air by UAE defence conglomerate, Edge Group.
Yesterday, the pre-show International Defence Conference heard from HE Mohammed bin Ahmad Al Bowardi, the UAE’s Minister of State Defence Affairs, as he talked about the challenges of transformation in the defence industry.

SHOW BUSINESS – produced in cooperation with the UAE’s Ministry of Defence and ADNEC – will be delivering highlights from the show during the week.
