Gulf Air Chief executive officer Captain Waleed Al Alawi said he ‘valued’ the annual opportunity to network with the airline’s travel and tourism agents in its popular GCC destinations, as Gulf Air started flying to the region in the fifties and still sees strong passenger demand that translates to adding more daily frequencies in the future.
He also highlighted the adaptation of several ambitious initiatives aimed at digital transformation and the application of green principles that are environmentally friendly, briefing the audience on the airline’s expansion plans and the qualitative additions of Gulf Air’s beach destinations, the latest of which was the launch of direct flights between Bahrain and the city of Goa in the Republic of India.
He said: “These expansion plans come in line with the airline’s boutique strategy to offer passengers customised services and Gulf Air’s renowned Arabian hospitality.
