Jeddah hit by Houthi drone and missile attacks
Saudi Arabia suffered a series of attacks from missiles and drones allegedly fired by Yemeni Houthi missiles.
This evening, an Aramco distribution plant in Jeddah was struck causing infrastructure damage but no casualties, according to intelligence site Osprey.
Publicly available flight tracking data suggests there has been disruption to operations since the attack at 18:00, (15:00 UTC).
Earlier in the day Yemeni Houthi rebels have claimed attacks involving drones, ballistic and cruise missiles against other ARAMCO sites near Riyadh and Yanbu along with multiple targets in the southwest provinces of Jizan and Asir.
A desalination plant is also believed to suffered some damage.
According to Osprey, the Saudi Arabian coalition has shot down at least 393 Yemeni Houthi rebel drones and SSMs targeting locations predominantly in the southwest provinces of Saudi Arabia since the start of 2021.
