Saudi and US conclude 'Combat Ready' exercise
Saudi Arabian and US air forces spent December undergoing bilateral exercises to test ‘combat readiness’, according to the Royal Saudi Air Force
The bilateral exercise ‘took place at the King Abdullah Airbase in the Western Sector and aimed to enhance means of joint military cooperation and exchange of expertise between the two sides, the report from Riyadh said.
Training prospects of a different kind were also reported from Riyadh where the Commander of King Abdulaziz Military College, Major General Dr. Ali bin Saleh Ibrahim Alhudaif, welcomed the President of Iraqi Defense University for Higher Military Studies, Lieutenant-General Saad Mazhar Al-Alaq.
Al Alaq was joined by representatives of the Iraqi National Defense University;the Center for Strategic Studies and Research; the Language Institute, and the Military Academy as well as the Iraqi military attaché in Saudi Arabia. The two nations are looking at future cooperation in the defence education field.
