Qatar Aeronautical Academy selects Skyborne as training provider
Qatar Aeronautical Academy has selected Skyborne Airline Academy as a “satellite training centre” for students who will be eligible for employment with Middle East carriers.
Ed Davidson, managing director, Skyborne Airline Academy, said: “We’re proud that the quality and professionalism offered by Skyborne has resulted in a new partnership with a leading Middle East pilot training academy. Skyborne has consistently demonstrated a level of service that sets us apart as potential partners for the world’s leading airlines and their training academies and ensures we can offer both domestic and international trainees the best possible training for their future careers.
The Qatar Aeronautical Academy’s offshore training will be located at Skyborne’s Vero Beach campus, where successful student pilots will complete the Qatar flight syllabus and return to Doha to finalize their Qatari licenses.
Sheikh Jabor Bin Hamad M. Al-Thani, Director General, Qatar Aeronautical Academy, says: “The future of our industry depends upon boosting the number of skilled pilots and we’re proud to offer a very attractive training program to achieve exactly that. Skyborne shares our commitment to professionalism and quality and will prove an ideal partner in realising this goal.”
