Oman Air's new Safety Trainer departs for Muscat

Oman Air's new A330 Safety Training Simulator receives its final checks at Spatial Composites manufacturing plant in Dubai before setting out on its journey to Oman Air's new cabin crew training facility near Muscat International Airport.

The device, which took 9 months to manufacture, measures 16 metres in length and will travel overland to its final destination under police escort - a journey expected to take 4 days.  

A Spatial B737 Safety Trainer is also on its way to Muscat which will enable Oman Air to carry out the full range of door training and emergency evacuation procedures for its expanding fleet of single and dual isle aircraft.
