NBAA - Saudi business operators opt for training from Dakota

The University of North Dakota announced at NBAA today that it has entered into contracts with Saudi Arabia as well as Taiwan, China, and Japan to provide both fixed- and rotor-wing pilot education to airlines and companies in those countries.

Offering technologically advanced training complex and the largest collegiate aircraft fleet of any university in the world, the UND John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences pioneered the concept of offering students an undergraduate business degree combined with in-depth education and professional flight training.

UND’s undergraduate program in commercial aviation serves 800 students from 12 countries. In addition, annually more than 300 international students utilize everything from its primary training fleet of Cessna 172 aircraft with the glass Garmin 1000 avionics to its CRJ 200 Flight Training Device, High Altitude Chamber and King Air fleet.
