Human factors training course offered in Dubai

The 14th EAAP-Recognised "Human Factors in Flight Safety: SMS, Risk Management and Safety Investigation" course is take place in Dubai next month .

The course will be held at the Emirates Aviation College in Dubai from 05-09 June and hosted by Emirates Airline.
The training syllabus has a strong focus on Human Factors aspects of air safety management and investigation, with additional emphasis on Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Risk Management, and considerable content regarding best practice in contemporary safety management and investigation techniques.
The course is recognised by EAAP (European Association for Aviation Psychology) as part-fullfilment towards certification as an Aviation Psychologist or Human Factors Specialist.
The very first of these courses was conducted at Ispra, Italy in 1999, and since then the courses have been held regularly in locations including Luxembourg, Stockholm, Madrid, Lisbon and Interlaken, with more than 250 participants to date.
The courses are typically attended by pilots, cabin crew, engineers, ATCOs, safety managers, regulators, investigators, psychologists, Human Factors specialists and various other aviation professionals.
