Gulf Aviation Academy signs with Civil Aviation Affairs to participate in Bahrain Airshow 2010

As a fully owned subsidiary of Mumtalakat, the investment arm of the Kingdom of Bahrain, GAA has robust credentials and solid financial backing. Since its inception in July 2009, the Academy has been busy training a substantial number of pilots, engineers and cabin crew.

The courses available at GAA are wide ranging with more than 20 courses on offer. Pilot training includes Ab-initio, direct entry, cross conversion qualifications on the A320, A330 and A340 and recurrent training. Engineers can take courses including A320, A330, A340 EASA 147 approved type training course, human factor courses, CFM-56, Boroscope, induction courses on A320, A330 and A340, as well as train the trainer courses.
Airline cabin crew are not left out with a range of courses including an initial course, cabin manager assessment, business class, cabin senior and first class assessment; annual recurrent training; an update to cabin manager or first class, as well as conversion courses to A320, A330 and A340.
