GAA signs Bahrain Air for A320 training

Bahrain's Gulf Aviation Academy (GAA), has signed a training agreement with the island's low cost carrier Bahrain Air

The agreement was signed at GAA facilities in Bahrain by Captain Ahmed Yaqubi, Chief Operating Officer, Bahrain Air and Tim Shattock, Chief Executive Officer, GAA.

GAA will provide training opportunities and services covering Airbus A320 theoretical and practical training for Bahrain Air’s pilots and cabin crew personnel. The training will be conducted at the Academy’s facility in Muharraq in accordance with curriculum provided by Bahrain Air and developed to meet Bahrain Civil Aviation Authority’s requirements. 

Shattock  said: ““GAA was established to make aviation training opportunities more accessible to our clients in Bahrain and the region, we look forward to an ongoing and successful partnership with Bahrain Air and we are positive that this agreement will help in initiating a platform for further cooperation between the two companies.”

Captain Yaqubi said: “Passengers and crew Safety is Bahrain air's number one priority and therefore we continue to invest in top quality training for our staff.”

GAA is Bahrain’s first aviation training academyand was created by Mumtalakat from the Gulf Air training school. The Academy’s facilities and equipment at Bahrain International Airport are all state of the art, modern with training solutions designed around the customer.
