Dubai Airshow: Dassault launches UAE partnership

Dassault Systémes has signed a partnership agreement with the Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research (KUSTAR) to develop cutting-edge education and research activities in the Emirates. KUSTAR will use Dassault Systémes' Product Lifecycle Management and 3D software solutions in support of its ongoing efforts to help the development of a local product innovation sector.

KUSTAR’s programme includes a range of integrated content, ranging from course material, continuing education courses, outreach projects, lectures and conferences.


Dr Arif Sultan Al Hammadi, interim president at KUSTAR told Arabian Aerospace that the new partnership would: “help us to develop a body of local knowledge that will build credibility and create exciting long term opportunities in technical careers for a new generation of students in the UAE”, and that developing a local product innovation sector would be the “key to helping the UAE to build a sustainable engineering industry, on the regional and global stage.”
