Airways College confirms its expansion in Africa

The school signed a contract with Air Cote d’Ivoire in 2015 to train its cadets. The first promotion accomplished the theoretical part of their training in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast with success, and is continuing with the inflight training at the FTO’s Agen site, in France.
Following the successful international trial, Airways College put in place a partnership with Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny (INPHB) in Yamoussoukro at the beginning of this year.
Airways College has a EASA license, and is able to train African pilots in INP-HB location, in Ivory Coast.
In line with its development in the African market, Airways College participated in the Aviation Africa tradeshow in Kigali, Rwanda last week, and met numerous actors of this booming sector.
Krista Vandermeulen, Airways College CEO & Corporate Business Development, said: "We are very excited to train African cadets to our EASA standards. They represent the future for African airliners. It is crucial to work closely with the airline companies and meet their exact needs. We do not want good pilots; we want great pilots, the best ones."
