Webinar sees Boeing communicating with Tunisian aerospace industry

A webinar has been used to bring together supplier management representatives from Boeing Defense, Space & Security and Tunisian aerospace manufacturers.

The Tunisian Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) and Business Reform & Competitiveness Project (BRCP) sponsored the webinar, which presented the requirements for what it takes to become a Boeing supplier.
 
FIPA used Boeing’s requirements to provide an overview for the Tunisian Aerospace industry.
 
It also showed Tunisia’s value proposition, driven by a cost structure and training infrastructure and aerospace production capacity that exists in Tunisia, including a Tunisian light aircraft manufactured for international markets.
 
Four Tunisian aerospace companies presented their products, and highlighting their capabilities in aerospace supply chain products such as assembly, engineering, and metal sheet fabrication.
 
The webinar gave the companies’ chance to directly communicate with Boeing and receive feedback.
