The Star Alliance carrier had specified its need for a one-stop solution that would address flight planning, aircraft tracking, electronic flight bag (EFB) services in line with its initiative to promote paperless cockpit operations, enhance crew efficiency and lower total cost of ownership.

For Singapore-based Laminaar, this is its fourth win in a row in the African region in the last seven months.

The consecutive wins further highlight that ARMS is a reliable, future-ready, comprehensive and cost-effective solution for airlines seeking digital transformation and new technology adoption.

Laminaar CEO, Vivek Sheorey, said: “We are privileged to be chosen by South African Airways and thankful for the trust they have vested in us. We look forward to being the airline’s technology partner of choice in its journey of digital transformation and wish the carrier continued success in the future.”
