RwandAir celebrates five years of flying to Harare
RwandAir is celebrating five years of flying between Kigali and the Zimbabwean capital of Harare.
RwandAir’s first flight between the two cities departed Kigali for Harare on 5 April 2017, on one of the carrier's Boeing 737-800s.
Currently, direct flights between the two cities operate three times a week, on a Bombardier CRJ900ER, offering customers a choice of 75 seats across Business Class and Economy.
Justin Nyaga, Zimbabwe country manager, said: “Five years ago we launched our first flight from Kigali to Harare to connect it with top destinations throughout Africa - and beyond - across our extensive network.
“We are very proud to be celebrating this great milestone after five successful years which have seen us connect friends and families, and strengthen Rwanda’s strong economic ties with Zimbabwe.
“We thank all of our customers for choosing to fly with us and look forward to the next five years of connecting these two great countries as we continue to connect Africa to the World.”
