China Southern launches second route to Saudi Arabia
China Southern Airlines will continue to grow its presence in the Middle East during this summer with the launch of a second route to Saudi Arabia.
Ahead of debuting its first nonstop flights to the country from April 16 with service connecting Beijing Daxing and Riyadh, the carrier has filed plans for a second route to the kingdom from Shenzhen, starting in June.
From June 3, China Southern will commence flights from Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport to Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport (RUH), operating twice a week utilizing Airbus A330-300 aircraft. The airline will be the sole operator of the route, according to OAG Schedules Analyser data.
