Air Peace to operate between Lagos and London Gatwick
Air Peace has said it plans to launch a new route between Lagos and London Gatwick, using a Boeing 787-9 wet leased from Norse Atlantic Airways.
The Nigerian carrier recently secured traffic rights and slots for the new London Gatwick route, which will join Air Peace’s network on March 30, marking its first European destination.
Air Peace launched scheduled operations in 2014 and has since grown to become the country’s largest intercontinental airline, serving six 21 domestic routes, 10 regional routes and six intercontinental destinations.
Norse Atlantic will provide Air Peace with a 787-9 on ACMI lease to launch the Lagos-Gatwick service.
The Norse Atlantic aircraft has initially been supplied to Air Peace for two months, from April.
