Canadian-born Bouteiller succeeds Simon Stewart who left the National Air Services group a short while ago.
Bouteiller began his career in business aviation operating a DC9 and a Learjet from Singapore before working with the Red Crescent in the first Gulf War. This was followed by a period in Afghanistan with the United Nations.
In 1996 he co-founded Swiss World, a long-haul scheduled airline based in Geneva operating B767s to New York and in 2003 co-founded flybaboo operating E190s and Bombardier Q400-8s.
