MEBA2012: Tanury on its mettle for Middle East market
Tanury is at MEBA hoping to expand its presence and products into the Middle East market.

For more than 70 years the company has worked in metal finishing – transforming unfinished materials into durable and recognisable products.
“As we have expanded our markets in the United States and Europe, we are now looking into the UAE and surrounding countries,” said Thomas Tanury, chairman.
“We feel as though we have a level of service, quality and a selection of new metal finishing that will fit well with the ever-expanding markets of the Middle East.”
Tanury launches new finishes and processes every year, providing its customers with a range of options to stay competitive.
“We currently provide more than 100 decorative finishes in both electroplating and physical vapour deposition (PVD), which is used for high wear applications and in any industry where the visual and functional performance of an item can be enhanced with a durable decorative coating,” said Tanury.
“We take the PVD process to a completely new level with the widest assortment of colour options. We are an ISO-certified company committed to deliver high-performance quality metal coatings.”
For the aerospace industry, the company also offers jewellery-grade aesthetics applied to plated items to produce finishes that perform, and eliminate long-standing wear problems on components.
“We have taken our high levels of quality and service to the aircraft industry, becoming an FAA-Certified Repair Station for interior metal finishing specialising in VIP and VVIP interior component parts,” said Tanury.
“Whether for commercial or private aircraft, we offer components that deliver superior performance and a sophisticated appearance that provides resistant wear, especially for door handles, thresholds, sinks, galleys and other critical areas.”
