L3Harris boosts AOG support capability with OEMServices deal
The integrator will stock L3Harris products at its Jebel Ali service centre. These include TCAS, transponders, SATCOM, cockpit voice and flight data recorders, standbys and associated components supporting these products.
Adrian Paull, L3Harris vice-president of Customer Support, said: “As a leading supplier of critical avionics, it is essential we are able to quickly and effectively service globally-based customers.
“We selected OEMServices as an AOG Exchange and Spare partner because of their vast experience, our mutual sales partnerships and their firmly established global AOG support distribution centers which are able to provide timely regionalized solutions.
“This relationship will provide airlines with faster response times when they are in their most critical time of need.”
For OEMServices, president and chief executive Didier Granger said: “This newly formed partnership enables OEMServices to provide line-fit and buyer-furnished equipment from L3Harris for airlines across the globe; therefore, enhancing our already robust product and service offering.
“It also enables us to offer L3Harris products as part of customers’ supply chain and serviceability agreements which increases repair and AOG productivity while optimising their costs and aircraft down-time.”
OEMServices will maintain strategic inventory, provide critical logistics services and act as the first point of contact for 24/7/365 AOG support. Its Dubai base is one of more than 100 strategic global service centres that provide localised on-demand inventory, repair management solutions, engineering services and AOG logistics support.
