Kenya Airways aiming at improved dispatch reliability with new two-year deal
The Nairobi airline signed a two-year contract with Airinmar, part of AAR at the show. AAR already supplies a power-by-the-hour service to the airline
Ronald Lussier, Kenya Airways head of material management said he believed the airline would gain better component management skills through the contract which would develop its supply chain performance and warranty management.
"We hope to have gained supply chain management knowledge and instil it in our workforce, and then retake most of that business," Lussier said.
It applies to seven Boeing 787s, 11 737s and 15 Embraer ERJs.
