The airline has a sponsorship deal with English Championship football team Hull City and have had a special livery painted to commemorate the partnership.
Lithuania-based MAAS Aviation, recognised experts in aircraft painting and exterior coatings, refinished two B737-800 aircraft for the airline one in the standard carrier colours and the other a custom design featuring the football club – nicknamed The Tigers.
Tracy Jarman, sales manager Europe at MAAS, said: “We are delighted to welcome
Corendon Airlines onboard as a customer and our team really enjoyed creating this unique
livery to mark their status as the Hull City ‘Tigers’ official travel partner. We have a further
B737-800 from Corendon’s fleet scheduled into our Maastricht paint shop this month and look forward to further developing our relationship in the future.”
As well as working with airlines, such as Ryanair and Corendon, the MAAS Kaunas site is also
establishing itself as a centre of excellence for aircraft redelivery, working in partnership with the co-located FL Technics MRO facility.
