Bahrain 2012: Gulf Technics awards new hangar contract

Bahrain's MRO specialist Gulf Technics has today signed a deal with Kooheji Contractors to build a state-of-the-art hangar at Bahrain International Airport.

Tha hangar is one of Gulf Technics (GT) investment projects towards its aim to become a world-class MRO business as part of Bahrain's goal of becoming an aviation hub and  develop careers for Bahrainis. GT is a subsidiary of Bahrain's sovereign wealth fund, Mumtalakat.

GT Director Ahmed Al Reyes said the new facility "adds another crucial component to the services on offer and will be vital in ahelping to attract new airlines to use Bahrain International Airport."
