AMAC Aerospace develops new MRO facility in Auch, France
AMAC Aerospace, which has facilities in Turkey, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, is developing a new facility in JCB Aero in Auch, France.
The 5’000 square meter hangar, fully refreshed, can accommodate up to 3x single aisle aircraft simultaneously and has already welcomed the first aircraft early October 2024. The preparation of the hangar started in May 2024 and JCB Aero worked tirelessly with AMAC Aerospace Switzerland to be ready in September 2024.
“The launch of the Maintenance, Repair and Overall (MRO) activities is a major step in the development of JCB AERO. JCB AERO being part of AMAC Group, is offering to customers some additional capacities for the Maintenance of their Aircraft. The Hangar, fully refreshed, can accept up to 3x single aisles at the same time, either Airbus or Boeing. The proximity from Airbus in Toulouse, is definitely a strong advantage,” said Frédéric Dezauzier, chief operating officer, JCB Aero.
“One of the core business activities of JCB AERO is High end Cabin Design and Production, the customers will find the perfect place for Cabin refurbishment while the maintenance of their Aircraft is happening, here in Auch, France.
“Some customers have expressed and demonstrated their trust in securing work to the AMAC / JCB AERO teams and the first aircraft will already arrive in October 2024. The fully qualified teams are eager to receive their first Aircraft.”
