Caverton agrees lease deal for AW139 and Bell 412EP

The helicopters will operate in Nigeria supporting onshore and offshore oil and gas operations.
"We are confident that this marks the beginning of a long and productive partnership with Caverton," said Waypoint’s CEO Ed Washecka.
Caverton operates out of a 10,000 square meter flight facility at the Murtala Muhammad Internatinal Airport in Lagos. The company also owns and operates out of several purpose-built facilities in Victoria island (The Ozumba Heliport), Port Harcourt (NAF Base), Warri and Cameroon.
Mr. Adeniyi Makanjuola, chairman of Caverton Helicopters, said, “We are pleased to accept and add these aircraft into our operations, which is in line with our fleet expansion strategy. It positions us well and enhances our capability to continue to render safe and efficient logistics services to our impressive customer base. The partnership with Waypoint Leasing has provided an avenue through which we can meet our growing need to renew and refresh our fleet.”
Caveton previously operated six AW139s and was appointed an AgustaWestland Authorized Service Centre for the intermediate twin helicopter in Nigeria. The Lagos service centre provides maintenance and repair services and an extensive a spare parts inventory for the type across the region.
