Saudi Arabia to host Airports, Aviation and Logistics Summit 2012

The first annual Kingdom Airports Aviation and Logistics Summit will be held at the Jeddah Exhibition Centre from the May 2-3 2012.

The Kingdom Airports Aviation & Logistics Summit 2012 promises to provide the airports, aviation, business aviation, transport, logistics, materials handling and warehousing sectors in Saudi Arabia with an exhibition and conference to participate in and network at.   Jeddah Chamber of Commerce, the King Abdul Aziz International Airport and other governmental bodies support the exhibition.

Saudi Arabia is targeting $100 billion of investment in airport, port, rail, road and logistics centre projects over the next decade, with the ambition to make the Kingdom one of the world's leading transport and logistics hubs by 2020.

Through these developments, Saudi Arabia is looking to establish itself as a key global transport and logistics hub with an ambitious plan to attract over US$900 billion investment in infrastructure, housing, power, transport and other sectors.
