Middle East MRO expected to grow

MRO Middle East, co-produced by The Aviation Week Network and Tarsus F&E LLC Middle East, will return to the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) 11-12 February 2019 bringing together the MRO industry offering them access to the region’s growing marketplace of airlines, suppliers, OEMs and B2B buyers.

The aerospace sector in the United Arab Emirates has grown over previous years as a result of its favourable geographic location combined with investment from leading airlines in the region. Boeing predicts demand for 2,990 new aircraft in the Middle East by 2037, with a value of $754 billion.

The Middle East has the second largest MRO growth in the world and is predicted to generate 10% of the world’s total demand in MRO requirements, valued at $100.6 billion, over the next decade.

The potential to share in this growth is a key factor in many new companies choosing to exhibit at MRO Middle East for the first time in 2019. Among them include FerroCrtalic, Galactic Aero and MB Aerospace. In addition, returning exhibitors include Gelbyson, MTU Maintenance and Saudia Aerospace Engineering Industries (SAEI).

The MRO Middle East Summit will take place the day before the main exhibition, Sunday 10 February 2019 at the Conrad Dubai. The conference will challenge and address many of the key issues that affect the major airlines and international suppliers. 

Speakers at the 2019 Summit will include Aqeel Al Zarouni,Director of Airworthiness - Aviation Safety Affairs, UAE General Civil Aviation Authority; Zuhair Khashman, President & CEO, Jordan Aviation Airlines; Debra Santos, CMO, Boeing Global Services and Steve Williams, Chairman, Vaayu Group among others. The one-day conference will attract  over 150 senior attendees from the aviation aftermarket to network, explore the landscape, and discuss emerging opportunities in the Middle East.
