Aviation Africa ready to open its doors

“We are honoured to welcome Minster Creecy to open Aviation AFRICA in what will be one of her first aviation event engagements since being appointed to the role on 3 July 2024 in the new Government of National Unity of South Africa,” said Mark Brown, managing director, Times Aerospace Events.

“Aviation Africa has surpassed all our expectations in terms of visitor registrations and exhibitor driven by interest in how commercial air transport is developing in South Africa and across the African continent,” said Brown.

Airline involvement in Aviation AFRICA is at an all-time high with 92 airline and operators taking part, 1,400 expected attendees, and close to 100 exhibitors & sponsors. Hosted by the South African Civil Aviation Authority and co-located with AfBAA, two of South Africa’s leading airline names – John Lamola, CEO of South African Airways, and Rodger Foster, CEO of Airlink – will be taking part in the event’s summit, in addition to a sparkling array of senior executive talent from across the continent.
