Partnerships and investment were the theme of the day at the IDEX and NAVDEX show in Abu Dhabi as the SHOW BUSINESS daily reports.
Raytheon hit the headlines with plans for a local final assembly integration and test line for its Coyote counter-UAS interceptor to be built on Abu Dhabi’s Tawazun Industrial Park.
Boeing is also extending its strong local links with centre of excellence to be built at the same location and will be supplying engine repair and overhaul as well as training.
The team that developed JetPack also signed an investment deal with Tawazun that will see it bring its unique high performance VTOL, Speeder, through flight test and to market.
There were lucrative deals and new technologies adding to the success of the event.
