Large MiG-29 order commences this year
A North African country has ordered two MiG-29 fighter jets from Russia, with delivery expected this year, DefenceWeb has reported.
RAC MiG deputy director general Alexey Beskibalov has said that delivery on 50 MiG-29M/M2s that were ordered last April should be completed by 2020.
DefenceWeb has indicated that the order is likely to be from Egypt, after expressing interest in MiG-29 fighters, Mi-35 attack helicopters and other hardware.
