“This is a key approval for MedAire and we worked closely with the GCAA through a meticulous approval process to attain it,” explains MedAire CEO Grant Jeffery. “It is especially important for our MedAire clients whose first aid training must be GCAA-compliant to meet their operator standards.”

The GCAA approval will allow MedAire to conduct its Management of In-flight Illness and Injury program—which exceeds GCAA requirements—in Dubai.

GCAA will conduct an annual audit of MedAire’s training curriculum, instructors and facilities to ensure they maintain the level of excellence necessary to meet the requirements for first aid training in Dubai.
