Jet Aviation awarded Medevac conversion

The aircraft will be approved through the company’s EASA-Part 21 organization.
As VIP charter aircraft, the Legacy will accommodate up to fourteen passengers. When converted for medical evacuation, the Legacy 650 will present four patient stretcher and loading systems.
“We have a long history of handling major modifications and completions at Jet Aviation, and are fully committed to investing in the latest technologies that support the highest quality and safety standards,” said Erik Vandegrift, director Maintenance Operations for Gulfstream, Embraer and Bombardier aircraft at Jet Aviation in Basel. “The ability to quickly convert VIP charter aircraft for medical evacuation purposes offers significant benefit to aircraft operators who want to extend the serviceability of their business jets — and we are very pleased to make this possible.”
