EBACE: Gama signs with CAE to launch Lear 45 training in UK

CAE announced at EBACE today that it has entered into a long-term agreement with Gama Aviation for pilot training services, including e-Learning, on four Bombardier aircraft types - Learjet 45, Learjet 60, Learjet 60XR, and Global Express. The training will be conducted at CAE's aviation training centre in Burgess Hill, UK, near London Gatwick Airport.

Gama Aviation pilots and technicians are the first to train on the new Learjet 40/40XR/45/45XR full-flight simulator recently qualified at CAE Burgess Hill. They began training this week.

As a global business aircraft operator, we require a training partner who can deliver the range of programs that support our fleet and in locations convenient and cost-effective for our team," said Captain Steve Wright, Group Director of Operations and co-founder of Gama Group.

Gama Group recently received its AOC from the UAE and operates from Sharjah. It has aircraft charter, aircraft services, maintenance and modification, and aircraft leasing and management with 75 aircraft at bases in Europe, the Middle East and North America.
