Passengers destroy Arik Air equipment
Angry passengers have destroyed Arik Air's equipment after their flight was delayed and later merged with an evening flight.

The trouble was initiated by senior customs officer, Olarenwaju Tajudeen, who paid to modify his 17:00 flight to Port Harcourt, instead flying on the 15:00 flight, which was subsequently delayed and merged with the 17:00 flight.
The carrier refused to refund his modification fee, which caused Tajudeen to pull the carrier’s computer monitor from its cable and smash it on the ground.
Other passengers joined him to completely destroy the system.
Tajudeen has been arrested for the offence, but was granted bail. The case may be taken to court.
