Cavotec liked supplier service so much it bought the business

A partnership that began through working together on the Emirates A380 terminal in Dubai has resulted in a permanent acquisition.

Cavotec incorporated US firm INET's GSE systems  on the project for the supply of pre-conditioned air and power systems for the Dubai International Airport terminal two years ago.

Today Cavotec reported it had completed the aquisition of the California based INET.

INET Airport Systems was established in 1967, and is dedicated to the design, manufacturing, installation and support of stationary and mobile aircraft servicing equipment. Via itsdomestic and international sales and field support offices, INET supplies 50/60 -400 Hz power conversion, preconditioned air systems, and power generation for the global aviation industry.

Cavotec said in a release to the financial markets that it expects to further develop the INET business as Mike
Colaco, the former owner and CEO of the company, will become part of Cavotec's top management and will assume worldwide responsibility for the Airports Market Unit.
