Alterations but Abu Dhabi Airport expansion remains on schedule

According to Gulf News, the expansion will be 60-65% complete by the end of this year. The newspaper quoted chairman Ali Majid Mansouri as saying there had been ‘some changes’ due to changing technology, but the construction is on schedule.
Airport staff and ‘dummy passengers’ will be testing the terminal’s processes from the first quarter of 2017.
The Midfield Terminal is being built by a joint venture between Dubai’s Arabtec and Turkey’s TAV.
