Deliveries to the low-cost Turkish carrier will start in the first quarter of 2025, with the inaugural order completed by the end of 2029, and the potential for fifty further aircraft to follow soon after.

The Series 9 in rich navy vegan leather will be pre-reclined to a comfort- and space-enhancing 21.5 degrees and will feature custom trim and finish, with subtle touches of the vivid red and bold yellow which feature in the striking Pegasus Airlines’ livery.

Announcing the contract, Neil Cairns, CEO of Acro, said, “We are delighted to have been chosen as the preferred partner of the dynamic and forward-thinking Pegasus Airlines and we’re looking forward to creating, with the Pegasus team, a distinctively bespoke version of our versatile Series 9.

“The Series 9 has been hailed, with justification, as a game-changer; it’s known as the Fixed Back, which truly optimises passenger living space, even in high-density cabins. Its attributes are perfect for today’s marketplace, with benefits including competitive weight and costs, elegant clean lines and reduced part count to support low maintenance and fast turnaround.

“Inevitably, it’s the comfort of this class-leading seat which gives it its Unique Selling Point.  Generous pax width has been achieved without compromise to either armrest or aisle width, so that passengers enjoy outstanding stretch-out legroom even at a reduced pitch.  We’re confident that it will be a huge hit for Pegasus Airlines and their passengers when it takes to the air.”
